GLUTEN FREE CUTIE

After hearing that Georgia could potentially be hit by a hurricane this week, I figured that I had to outdo mother nature somehow... so I tried a gluten-free, dairy-free cupcake.
Surprisingly, it looks just like a regular cupcake. In all honesty, I was totally expecting a dry and tasteless creation simply because of the words gluten-free and dairy-free. I survived the experience and am here to inform you that these cupcakes were scrumptious. The best part about them? The words gluten-free & dairy-free. Although I was afraid of these words at first, they actually make you feel as if you are not eating a cupcake! It is almost as if you are eating something "healthy." With a range of flavors, I totally understand why people in the Roswell area who have allergies and dietary limitations find this place a safe haven. In addition to cupcakes, they also offer other products that are gluten & dairy free, like cinnamon rolls, bread rolls, mac & cheese, sandwiches, and much more! Before walking in, I assumed this establishment was a bakery; however, now I believe it is more of a grocery store or restaurant. With a cute southern-style dining room, Gluten Free Cutie makes for a great health conscious lunch date, a quick take out order, or a yummy sweet treat.

While Gluten Free Cutie has an Instagram page, I do not believe they are utilizing it to their full potential. A company that knows how to use social media, especially Instagram, propels their company to the next level over their competitors. Currently, they are posting many images that simply have text on them as well as some pictures of their products. The problem is that these pictures of their products are not high quality, do not present them in an overly appetizing manner, and do not display their cute restaurant in any way. In order to grow their 2,000 followers into something greater, they will need to place more energy into capturing better content. With better content, more engagement will come to their page which will hopefully lead to more sales. One thing that I will complement the business on is that they offer to enroll each customer into their rewards member email chain. Rewards programs are a great method to hook customers into becoming repeat visitors by reminding them to come try a new product, new flavor, or enjoy a treat for free.

With some marketing help, I could see this quaint restaurant branching out into several locations throughout the small towns surrounding Atlanta.

P.S- I am praying for all those affected by Hurricane Irma & all those in its path! :)
