CHICK-FIL-A

Although I typically center my blogs around companies with great desserts and their social media efforts, I decided to stray away from that trend this week after discovering Chick-Fil-A's truly magnificent strategy. For starters, I will say that regardless of how strong a company's marketing strategy is, it will fail if the quality of the products or services offered do not meet certain standards. As we all know, Chick-Fil-A has food quality that is at the top of the fast-food industry, as well as service that prides itself in being very close to perfection.

From a social media strategy perspective, Chick-Fil-A has enacted many campaigns to drive customers into their restaurants more and more frequently. They have done this through their Instagram, Facebook, email blasts, as well as their own app. Many companies have a presence on both Instagram and Facebook, but very little have ventured into either email blasts or creating their own apps. Therefore, the fact that this brand has accomplished both while many do not have either, simply places them onto another level. In their Facebook and Instagram posts, Chick-Fil-A reposts content that its followers capture of their food and experience, and they also offer occasional promotions to their followers, and anyone that stumbles upon their page. This in itself is an amazing tool, but they even take it one step further. If you download their app and enter your credit card information, you can also earn reward points that build up and allow you to earn free entrees. In addition to signing up for their app and inputing your email, you automatically are entered into email blasts for locations that you regularly visit. Each week, you will receive personalized emails including special, "secret" promotions and deals that only people in the email chain may redeem.

If you eat Chick-Fil-A as regularly as I do, I would definitely recommend digging deeper into their strategy and signing up for all they have to offer, because there is much more to their efforts in staying successful other than just providing great food!
