PILLSBURY COOKIES


The greatest time of the year is back, right? The time for these amazingly, "dough-y" Snowman cookies from Pillsbury that are always a guaranteed delight! The only issue is, how is Pillsbury reminding people that this product is back in shelves for the season? 

Unfortunately, they are not doing the greatest job. Although they promote the product on their Instagram, this brand needs to realize that it is unlikely for consumers of their products to actually follow them on social media. It is such a quick purchase and experience, that many consumers would not think twice about following them, let alone even checking out their social media. However, once they see the product in store, it is very likely that they will make the purchase. Therefore, I have two suggestions for Pillsbury. First, place advertisements in noticeable, high frequency areas of convenience and grocery stores. Second, from a social media standpoint, pay influencers or popular food accounts to incorporate the cookies into one of their posts. This will give the product a wider audience, while also reminding viewers that the products are back for the season.

With this advice, I believe that Pillsbury will experience higher sales for the season.
